Our Story
From a quaint town called Birantiya in Rajasthan, our ancestors began as humble wool and cotton traders over 250 years ago. Destiny led our forefather Nihalchand ji Alijar southward to Hyderabad — where he planted the seed of what would become a legendary name in jewellery.
Nearly 180 years later, the roots of our Marwadi Jain family had grown deep into the soul of Secunderabad. We established one of the first money lending shops in the city, ventured into silver craftsmanship and gave birth to Uttam Jewellers — the predecessor of everything PJE stands for today.
Through eight to eleven generations of unwavering dedication, our family evolved — from silver to gold, from gold to diamonds. From Turkish designs in the 2000s to Pachi in 2008, Kundan in the 2010s and Lightweight jewellery in 2020 — every chapter written with the customer at its heart.
Today, Panna Jewellers Exclusive stands as a living testament to that enduring journey — specialising in handmade Turkish, Pachi and Kundan jewellery. Each piece a heirloom, crafted to be worn, celebrated and passed down across generations.

The torchbearer of a legacy spanning generations. Joining the family business at 16, Mahender Kumar has spent decades building PJE into Secunderabad's most trusted name in gold jewellery — introducing Turkish, Pachi, Kundan, and Lightweight designs across the years, always guided by one unshakeable belief: 100% transparency, quality, and trust.
Shashank Alijar
The eye behind every stunning piece, Shashank is the one who ensures that beauty is never left to chance. A GIA-certified gemologist from Carlsbad, Shashank brings world-class expertise in precious stones to every PJE collection. Each festive season he personally curates new bridal and Kundan designs — ensuring every piece that leaves PJE carries both artistic brilliance and complete financial integrity.
Devansh Alijar
Devansh Alijar is the driving force behind PJE's digital presence — from brand strategy and content to everything you experience online. An avid adventurer and endurance athlete, he cycled 4,000 km across India from Jammu to Kanyakumari and finished Ironman 70.3 Bintan, placing 8th in his age group.
